How to catch a ball shot right at you

Welcome back to another back to goal training installment! Where we are going to be looking at a drill I put together to cover one of the most fundamental and important goalkeeper training session and skills out there.
Making sure that you can catch the shots and services that are sent right at you or straight to frame as us GK coaches like to say. Goalkeepers MUST HAVE SAFE HANDS! We are the only players allowed to use our hands on the ball so there is no excuse, simple handles like low ball services and shots to frame should be simple catches and holds anything less is poor technique!
So I decided to break down this session for you guys because I have been having a doozy of a time with my own holds and catching technique since I have come back from my finger break.
